Welcome to The OSD/JS Privacy Office

The OSD/JS Privacy Office is a branch of the Freedom of Information Act Division of the Executive Services Directorate, Washington Headquarters Services. The office was created in late May 2007 to provide guidance and direction to members of the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Joint Staff as it relates to the Privacy Act of 1974.
